Brief Self-Introduction

With 6 years academic experience and 2 years work experience under my belt, I have occupied junior/intermediate role as a back-end developer for a couple IT companies and startups. This site showcases some of my personal as well as commercial work. My name is Kevin Lim.

Coding is one of my favourite things to do. I hold a Science degree majoring in Computer Science from the University of Auckland. Year 2016 is when I first started becoming a back-end developer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sometimes coding can feel like a chore, but I enjoy it most of the time.

Even with a Computer Science degree, I'm still learning new things until this day! Because in the world of today, technology is advancing continuously. With how quickly technology changes, you either keep up with the times or feel left out in the dark, stuck with using outdated and insecure technologies.

Also, I love open source. Open source is free, open source things make your life hell a lot easier. It is always fun to explore and experiment with all these new open source frameworks created by talented developers from around the world.
